Sports Massage

Sports massage is a deep tissue massage that eases tension within the musculoskeletal system. It stimulates blood circulation, breaks down any adhesions in the muscles and can improve range of motion. This type of treatment is effective for anyone and not just for people playing sport. 

Sports massage is similar to a car's MOT. With the stresses and strains that we put our body through everyday we should all be having a sports massage on a regular basis to improve our wellbeing. From the businessman at their desk day in day out, to the marathon runner putting hours into training, we are all guilty of mistreating our bodies. Just like we service our cars to make sure they run smoothly, we should service our bodies to make sure everything is aligned and functioning as it should.

Please note: If you have recently suffered an injury, please contact your GP or Physiotherapist as soon as possible. Massage will not be given until at least 48 hours after an injury, this is when the risk of bleeding and swelling has decreased. Please contact Jamie to book an appropriate time for an appointment post-injury. Massage treatment is not a substitute for medical treatment or advice.
